Matching curtains? Not my cup of tea!
Let's start today with something random... as in a website that tells you where people with the same last name as you are mostly found. Usually they give the top five countries in the results but my last name is so uncommon that only three were given: Poland, France and United States. Well, I guess the people in Poland are mainly family cousins and the people in France are my parents and my sister. I suppose they don't take into account last names spelled in Cyrillic, as you can't do a search with those, otherwise Ukraine would be in the top countries too. That was so disappointingly pointless. In other news, a random package left for my sister's yesterday. My collection of stamps has been mailed out to random parts of the world. And a red bag should also be crossing the big pond in the upcoming days. My poor reading table material, that asks such essential questions as "what is the universe made of?", is now on the floor, along with books that couldn't fit on the bookshelf. Actually if you overlook my kitchen utensils and the LP records decorating the walls, my flat only contains now stuff I brought with me from Pitsku-house. Including the non-assorted multi-coloured panel curtains... but hey, they give an "ambiance", right? |

His name was Paul but he wasn't an octopus.
I made a new friend while reading by the beach today. I knew we'd get along right away, he matched the colours on my bag perfectly. He tried to get inside my bag but I told him that I didn't like getting too close to people during the first encounter. And so he left. |
