If yes, then old Russian saying about the world being a big village holds true.
I worked at the Expo-2008 in Spain and I made enoughc contacts to be in Shaghai, should I have wanted to do so. In particular, I was at the core of the project of Russian pavillion, since I was an interprete on several meeting on this matter between the architect and VVC official (Russian operator). Also I happen to know the never-changing Comissaire of the Russian pavillion, Mr. Strashko who also happens to be the Vice-president of Russian Chambers of Trade and Industry.
Good times... Overall, we could have met in a totally surprising place :)
Alas, I passed on this possibility since I didn't know what the hell to do after graduating and then I got sick for, like, half a years, so it stopped being even a theoretical possibility that I went there.

Still, a would-have-been-great turn of events :)
