Day 61

Day 61 - 04.01.10 - Back in Helsinki. I need to move to a place where I won't need to take two planes just to get to Marseille. I hate having to wake up at 4am only to make it to Helsinki at 1pm.

You know you're used to Finland when you're not scared of a -6C.

Made it back to Helsinki, after the -25C they had a couple of nights back, it's a rather warm -6C that greeted me. As you can see my windows are all covered in really nice designs. The craziest thing happened, I met a really good friend in Munich and she was taking the same plane as me. She lives in Germany most of the year but now she's thinking of relocating to Helsinki and she makes the trip back and forth a lot. It was nice seeing her after not seeing anyone from Helsinki for two weeks. I was also greeted by postcards, thank you everyone who sent one. My grandparents sent me really funky ones with tons of glitter, they do seem to like glitter in Ukraine! I also got a notice that the cost of electricity increased, oh joy. Thank goodness what my landlord said about the house not needing a lot of heating is true! And some statements from the bank, I still have money, which is good. And finally a notice to come pick something up at the post office... I really don't know what it is. Judging by the name used (not "Gali" but my full name written with an "i" and not a "y"), it's either something sent by my family or something from one of my close(r) workmates. We'll see. And that's pretty much it. Back to work now. Time for a final reread on the chapter on UDI before submitting it. I wish my holidays had been longer, I really do.
