You put pumpkin in your coffee?
Oct. 18th, 2010 11:50 amOi voi, as some might say. I just online witnessed someone getting their panties in a twist because a Soy Pumpkin Spice Latte from Starbucks in not vegan. It contains condensed milk and therefore dairy. This person is not allergic to dairy in any way or form and only wanted it to be vegan because he or she is vegan. Let me put my little cynic cap on but honestly I would assume that you're vegan for a certain sets of beliefs... and shouldn't "do not provide money for hugearse corporations" be in those beliefs? Would have been a real kicker if that person had always ordered his or her drinks from Starbucks and drank them from one of those throw-away cups. The rationality of people, gets me every time! But life is good. And speaking of rationality, you know those people on strike. So I fully support the fact that the right to go on strike is a constitutional thing... but come on, is being an arsehole to those not on strike or degradation of public property part of being on strike? Last time I checked nope. I had to check in the SD card reader works under Ubuntu on the mini computer and so I got these photos from the small camera. They're mainly all either Toulon or commute related. We sometimes have clouds that hang over the Faron... there are worse things that office windows give on. I'm quite glad this office is on this side of the building. We may not have the sun shining directly at all during wintertime but at least we can see this and not the entrance to a shopping center. |
( five or six more photos of stuff ) And there are worse things to see on a daily commute. |
