We had Monday off last and that meant a long week-end last week... alas it rained for all three days. It was rather strange. Rain. For three days straight. I didn't sign up for this! At least I got to hang out in my nokian boots. ( five photos of new friends and other rain things ) |

Happy accidents from the Zenith.
Nov. 7th, 2010 11:33 amwhy shoot film? It teaches patience and it teaches that not all accidents are bad. I think about a third of the photos on that roll that tore in the Zenith came out with some sort of exposure in the end. That's another lesson, no matter how dark you think a room is, it's never as good as a proper dark room. Still, I quite like the photos, the ones with the exposures (like the yellowish bit in the one above) and the ones that came out intact. You'll notice that I posted almost the same photos taken with the Olympus... where I could find them, I linked them. It's always nice to compare. ( six more photos from that roll ) |
Mini!Gali rocked those damned Barbie sunglasses and looked bad-ass posing in front of some marine show at MarineLand. Current!Gali is wondering if they actually have someone doing environmental evaluations of army tanks and if so how does one get that job. If they don't, they should. They should also train those tank drivers to drive "while thinking more about the environment"*... hey, apparently that's the new fad during driving lessons and driving a tank counts as driving. * that environmental driving involves "sous régime" all the time (no idea what that is in English, never learnt to drive in English, basically when the engine is underused and you're going up a gear even though the engine does not provide enough power yet) and then you have no engine brake and therefore it's much easier to lose control. But who cares, you're thinking about the environment! Yay greenwashing! |
