I feel like I should get a table of about the height of the window sill just so I can keep bouquets of flowers there. In other plant news, the African Parachute plant I got way back when is finally dead. It's really a miracle it survived that long, it survived for more than half a year with me and then over a year at a friend's place and it was still blooming all the time! What really got it was a month-long holiday which did not include any watering. Still, if you want a plant that blooms eleven months in a year and is extremely hard to kill off, even with a black thumb, go for that kind. (Smena Symbol. Some kind of iso200 film, forget which one it was.) ( +3 - and some where I got the focus right )
