First one of the season. *hangs head in shame*

So how was your Sunday?

And with this morning's run, it makes it 1000! Yes, I did say that I was hanging up those running shoes for the year and to be honest the past couple of runs were all long ones on the week-ends because one just does not always feel like putting on those shoes for a short one when it's rainy, windy and dark. Heck, I'll spare you the sight of my socks full of mud but here is what my shoes were like this morning: And I stayed away from most dirt roads and the last few kilometres were actually in the downpour on pavement so a lot of the dirt got washed away. Yep, there are waterproof shoes out there but I honestly did not expect to need any here... In the end though I don't even know why I wanted to reach that 1000 once I had seen I was at about 930. Especially that this is not really representative of anything since it doesn't include the cycling nor the swimming. But as I like to say, if it weren't fun, I wouldn't be doing it! ( +1 - because we haven't had rainy windows shots in a long time )

Walking down memory lane.
