[Osaka2013] Sakura Sake.

Yesterday's major touristy plans were foiled by rain and wind. And my own inability to predict that if the skies are this bad then perhaps it is a good idea to carry an umbrella and possibly one day invest in weather sealed cameras/lenses. Do they even make MFT weather sealed cameras? (but hey, all that made for a few amusing instagram photos of my trying to wait out the rain and in the end just giving up and going back to the metro in the rain… and wind) Still, I went to check out if there were any signs of those cherry blossoms next to the waterfront and the answer is a simple "no", all the trees are still bare. ( +4 - no blossoms and the metro ) Speaking of metros and trains, yesterday I got into one of those "women only" train cars. I didn't even realise till I got out of it and saw that it was coloured differently. I thought they were only on JR lines but apparently the regular city metro also has some on certain lines.

[Osaka2013] Oh, such a huge drinker... that's me!

Now we also the answer as to what almost-bottom-shelf-but-not-quite white wine tastes like! It had a cheerful thumbs on it and it cost about half of what random wine from Chile cost and it wasn't in a tetra pack. Being the huge drinker I am, I figured this was as good as any wine out there. So for roughly 400 yen, one gets a bottle that tastes… bland, not too sugary, not defined back taste whatsoever. I'm a bit more fond a dryer white wines, to be honest. Oh, and the cashier put a little paper protective thing and I thought that was super cute. ( +2 - it was supposed to go with cheese or something ) Now, we'll have to move on to specialty liqueurs or something. Beer is too boring. Unless they have local Osaka beer. I'll have to look into that.
