This photo was taken mid-August and, at that time, I already thought the summer had been too long... if only I had known that it would continue well into September! I know my first summer was "cold" (i.e. only a few days above 40C) and last year we "only" had a heat wave or two, but this year the weather is out of control, if you ask me.
