Seen on my run this morning...

Yep. That's the sign that at the top of the Gineste and the one sign that makes me think that if I manage to run up there without stops then I own the world. And today I own the world. If only I could have had such strong legs those times I ran the official Marseille-Cassis! Actually let me refresh your memory about the Marseille-Cassis run, the layout it as follows:
Today I started somewhere between Obélisque and Redon because I had to run to the main path from the back streets. I made all the way where it says "Col de la Gineste" and then I ran back down and you know the worst part about living on a hill? You have 1h30min in your legs but you still have to go up that hill because otherwise you're still not home and that stupid hill does not show on MC layouts.
The mind is a strange thing overall, I ran up there, my legs felt fine but the moment I realised that the Gineste sign was actually another 100-200m away on a flat surface I really thought I couldn't make it that far. Although if that hill had been higher, I would have ran higher...
You might remember that far hill from other running photos. I usually run right under it.
Those far away mountains are my favourite sight on my morning commute.
