A month and two days after the event, here is the final part of the Tour de France Stage 21! So exciting that it even has its own little tag and its own little tumblr. And how could I possibly try to make a recap on something related to TdF without mentioning Voeckler! Try to spot him in the crowd: Hint: he might have lost the yellow jersey but the glasses stayed! True* fact: I think that I have way more decent shots of Philipounet than any other rider. * by "true" I mean "my best half-arsed guesstimate" If you want to get a lot of cheers and encouragements, either try to get back to the peloton after a mishap or win something. Not sure which one is easier, sometimes those guys don't like to wait up and it's hard catching up. Tranquilou, ya pas le feu. Some things change very fast such as team names, etc. Other things will be forever famously the same and this photo contains at least two of them: - Jens Voigt's epicness - Karpets' traumatising hair (in a season or two, if things continue well, Geraint Thomas' weird eyewear choices will be added to the list) And that's it. Time to yell my final good-byes to my lovely Aussie "neighbours" and run to catch the train back home.
