It's been a bit under two weeks and I'm only slowly starting to figure out just how much more I have to drink not to be in a constant state of dehydration, especially on weekends when I don't spend 10 hours in a decently air-conditioned place. That said, the heat was mainly a problem in my temporary accommodations, now that I am at my flat it should be better - the only windows there are go on patios and there is no direct sunshine so if all the windows are open there is no problem (and I have A/C for later months). Still, I have the winter also to look forward to. A co-worker from Scotland told me that the coldest he has ever experienced was in Seville in his flat during the winter months. The flats just aren't isolated well enough and they all have tile floors... but that's a bit like in Marseille so I know what to expect. ![]() ![]() |
