Snowy, snowy snow!

This is what I was greeted by this morning:















The best part is that the lab/office is about five minutes away even with the snow and I managed to not really get lost on the way there, that's a really big accomplishment for me.

It really is, especially for me as I haven't seen any real snow (not the stuff they make at ski resorts) in about ten years.

Where is it exactly located? will you play snowballs, make skiing, visit sauna?

It's a couple of miles away from Helsinki. I had this idea of starting a snowman but everyone is so used to the snow that it would just look silly :p

Yope, I was really lucky, most of the planes after mine were delayed because of the wind in Marseille... but I just got through :p

It's really nice. Although now it's more like slush and that means you have to wear boots :p

And amazingly the snow does not get all dirty as in most places, it just stays white all the time!

Hello! I'm just lurking about, you know, as one does. And I think I know where that is (my friend lived there for a while). So if it is the place I'm thinking of, you're in good luck indeed! It was fantastic! Ah, to walk on those trails again! :D Of course, when I was there it was summer and there were a lot of rabbits about. Hm. Is it also a sanctuary for birds and/or other wildlife?

And you're lucky there's snow! This winter is just not at all wintery...

It's the TKK campus in Otani... something (I'm still having trouble with the names, god forbid someone asks for my address, I have to take out my little helpful scrap of paper to look it up and all)

I actually have only seen one wild bird but everyone tells me that there will be more once spring comes along, I really do hope so!
