Right now there are two festials in Helsinki, the Pride Parade and some goth music one. I would like to add a third festival to that, the "let's remake all the roads" festival. It seems no matter where I go there are always kilometers and kilometers of road work. They just take the top covering and replace with new one and it seems that they've been doing it for months now and I doubt it will ever be finished. Starting on Monday they're doing some major road work right in the center so that's going to be ever more fun since there are coble stones there.

Ah, yes. Loads and loads of fun. Off to the Pride Parade I go then!

You can maybe imagine how pleased I am that I'm spending my summer elsewhere so I don't have to be in the middle of all those roadwork in Helsinki. And when I'm coming back in autumn, the work is done. :D

the goth festival's name translates into english as 'PAIN', which i find immensely lol-tastic.

Probably because it was just so painful to see all those people with dark denim jackets with "metallica" all over them :p
