Day 100

Day 100

12.02.10 - Finally changed the layout of my LJ. I'll have to remember to change the embedding settings on where-is-gali.net. Then I'll have to edit the picture in the right and tweak a couple more things and it should be ok.

I really forgot just how much trouble it is to change layouts when you really want to tweak things and not stick with the usual LJ layouts. I still don't get much to this S2style code, it really doesn't seem user friendly or maybe it's once again my logic which does not get along with everyone else's logic.

Also the layout will probably look weird or disproportionate in my resolutions, I blame my main ThinkPad, it has always had a weird resolution and that's the one I made this layout for.

Also #2, please notice this is my 100th photo in the 365days project! Go me!

And how about another fill in the blanks?
(because Lomolitos are awesome and people have give aways with some are really, really, really awesome)

I always:
- brush my teeth at least twice a day.
- unplug those "vampire" things such as phone chargers when I don't use them.

I sometimes:
- forget people's birthdays.
- wish I weren't living in Finland.

I never:
- regret my past decisions (or almost never, least I try not to).
- spend more than a week without talking with my parents on the phone (unless I'm travelling but then I email them almost every single day).

Oh right, I don't think I actually posted an explanation of it this time around (I already attempted it two years ago but only got to Day 61). The point is basically to take a photo a day for 365 days, even when you don't feel like it and are totally uninspired you still have to take one.

Looks like a challenge. Good luck :)

365 day projects are soo interesting.. but then don't you ever run into blocks.. as in.. what am i gonna put up today moments??.. why do you call phone chargers vampire things?? and how do you email your folks every single day?? i never could do that.. i run out of topics and it starts to feel pointless. you sound like you are really good with this java script thingie.. you are good with all this layout changing thing. i never got the hang of it. i tried it a few times and all i got was more confused. so i just got rid of everything flash and bang on my blog.. thats why it looks perhaps more boring if not plain. enjoy you PCs :)

The whole point of a 365days project is to force yourself to take a photo. When you look at mine sometimes it's just a photo of my clock.

Phone chargers that are plugged in, even when not charging anything, use electricity. Not that much electricity but when you look at how much stuff around the house is either plugged and unused or on idle, it quickly adds up.

My emails to my parents are usually just one or two lines, saying hi and saying that the weather is like this or that. The whole point isn't to tell a story, it's just to show that I'm ok and to see that they're fine too.
