Alrighty. I'm coming here from the land of the sun, which is surprisingly still Helsinki! This wonderful weather is supposed to last till Sunday and it's great because my dad's in town till Saturday evening and that means that we've been hanging out in the evenings as it's so nice and warm. I still can't believe the weather... it was snowing less than three weeks ago and now it's 25C outside... not to worry, we're going back to 12C soon enough. I got two of my Diana Mini rolls back, a redscale one and a black and white one. I started the red scale one still in Shanghai and it went with me to Stockholm and Marseille so there are quite a lot of different things on there!
Night and indoor shots with a redscale iso 100 still came out rather well in the end! I'm quite surprised. For comparison, I wanted to link a photo of the highway I know I took but the one in the LJ scrapbook seems to be glitching and I didn't upload it to Flickr. Oh well. In any case, here is what the Expo2010 set up looked like in colour, and here is another lit-up Shanghai shot.
Lauttasaari and snow look rather good. I think that the more white or light colours there are in the shot, the better it comes out. That must be the main trick to redscale now that I look back... The amount of snow in these pictures is crazy. They must have been taken in late March. |
