First steps on Korean soil.

Alrighty! I am in Seoul! And I have survived the trip. It's not my first to Asia and I don't think it's the longest flight I've ever taken but man, it sure did seem long! Maybe it's because I didn't manage to catch any sleep at all... even though I got the emergency exit row and therefore lots of legroom. The adventure started at the airport. (I call the little fox mini-Chullie, named after everyone's favourite @heedictator who loves his cats. A lot.) Bird watching at the airport facing away from the windows? Nope, this Japanese tourist prefered to stay away from the crowds that formed around the tellies showing the #ned-#jap game. Final moments of the game. I've never had the emergency exit row on a long FinnAir flight, I had never noticed before the third little pictogram... apparently there are fire suits on board! This photo is about the crackers. It's not a "Gali is an alcoholic" photo. I mean, the wine is so terrible usually that I much prefer to have the crappy beer, at least this time it wasn't Lapin Kulta. The new camera doesn't have the "take aerial shots" presets but this shot still came out rather well. Waiting for the little train to take us from one terminal to the other. Taking one of them "limousine" buses. They have a telly which plays commercials and some SBS show. The sad part is that I actually recognised three people on that show... yeah, I do need new hobbies which do not include random Korean trivia. First thoughts right outside of the Incheon airport: "it looks just like the Beijing or Shanghai airport!" Down to the highway structure and everything. Empty highway, might I add. It's creepy. Very, very, very creepy.

And when you say "empty highway" it reminded me of this http://www.fubiz.net/2010/05/30/empty-los-angeles/ and I agree that it would be very, very creepy to see that.

Also, love the random guy watching TV with binoculars. :D

I am so uncultured in terms of Muumin stuff :( Sniff is an awesome name! I also have always associated the character with a fox but looking back at the photo it seems it's a kangaroo...

I want to be as cool as that guy when I am older, he was just sitting there and out of nowhere he whips out those binoculars. Like he always has a pair in his pants pocket or something!
