In other news, it seems that Karolina is back to being her turtle self and eating some stuff. She still has to go for proper baths again... maybe she landed in her pool by mistake last time?
In other other news, the feeling of "blah" continues. I guess I really need a change of scenery a bit... or ice cream. I'll go for proper ice cream tomorrow.
How's the weather in Marseilles this summer? There are reports of severe heat lots of places (like Indiana), and I'm just checking on the global warming situation.
It's usually hot around here, it's normal not to see rain for months at a time and then when it rains, it really rains. The worst though is not so much the heat, it's the Mistral which is a really strong wind which usually lasts for a week or so. If ever there is a fire that starts while there is Mistral, it's almost impossible for firefighters to tame it... and sometimes it's even impossible to walk straight because the wind is so strong.
Overall I wouldn't say that "global warming" has affected Marseille much but then again I have a very special view on the whole warming business... I blame the fact that I work in environmental sciences for my skepticism on some things which people attribute to it.
