Woohoo! La classe! Et surtout Gali est super classe, elle prend des photos des douches au Stade de France. Ah ouais. Funny little bit of info, most of the search engine hits that fall on here are about French footballers for some reason. I don't even mention them all that often... |
And rugby should not be forgotten. The skirt and the bench are still amazing. Yep, I am classy and yes, the shower room was disappointing. No comment. So he's almost officially the official new captain forever and ever. |
Here I have take a tiny break to tell you about our guide. I don't remember his name but in my mind he's called Stefan. For some reason I always associate nice Germans with "Stefan". And he was German and had a lovely German accent* and he told us these ridiculous stories... When asked what his favourite moment at SdF was, he told us about one time that the Germans came to play a friendly against the French and he got assigned to work in the player area. His favourite moment was when he passed the German team's changing room and he saw Michael "Michel" Ballack's** impressive naked butt. He went on to tell us how up close the German team looks more like a rugby team than a football team and the subject was changed... that might explain why they win some matches. Anywho, Stefan was lovely and the best guide we could have hoped for and answer all our questions. I wish all tour guides were like him (and spoke with lovely German accents). And finally we got to walk through the players' entrance tunnel! In two lines! Like they do before a match! With the music and all! (you can watch it here if the embed doesn't work) * we all know I cannot resist a proper German accent, it's like that. I love German in general, it's just one of those languages I fell in love right away. ** when we were discussing with some others the visit after the dinner we were telling the guys about Stefan's favourite moment and I kept on calling Michael Ballack "Michel". Then someone asked if his name was really "Michel" because that didn't sound too German. "Michel" sounds better with the French pronunciation of Ballack though, so I think from now on it will forever be Michel Ballack. |
