Day 137 - 21.03.10

Sunday morning and it's already time to get back on solid ground in Helsinki. Week-end cruises to Stockholm are always too short.

And once again back from Stockholm and the cruise. Here is how we left Hki.

Bid good-bye to Helsinki and the White Church, said hello to Stockholm and its beautiful buildings and perfect weather, spent most of the time on the boat in between... I did enjoy it but boy, am I glad we only do the CS cruise once a year! 47 other peeps came along this time around, big groups are fun, but only for a limited time.

See there is the White Church in the background! Yes, most people go on the cruise not so much to visit Stockholm (the boat arrives there at 9:30am and you're supposed to be back on before 5pm on the same day) but for the atmosphere on board, especially if it's a cruise leaving on Friday evening. ( +15 of the islands and cheap buffet dinner wine ) Sunny, no really the weather was wonderful, Stockholm in the second and final part... now it's time for some sleep.

I'm hungry but nothing makes me want to eat right now.

Gah. I am so tired. As I've said before, getting drunk stopped being fun at around age 20 or maybe 21... so it's not like I can even blame my state on too much booze during the cruise. It's really just the fact that I did not get enough sleep because there were many fun people to hang out with and going to bed at 2am two days in a row, while getting up at 7:30am, it gets harder as you get older. In any case, I like these questions: 1. What year did you graduate high school? 2003 2. What part of your body do you neglect the most? Hum... I'm really low maintenance in general but I suppose I can say my feet. 3. Beach house or Lake house? Beach house. 4. Mac or PC? PC because some stuff for work won't run on Mac. 5. Did you wear braces? Yes, and a hell a lot of good did they do to my teeth. No really, I have a weird mouth. Heck I still have baby teeth... at my age. Basically the moment the braces were off my teeth separated again, retainer or no retainer. 6. If you could be one person for a day..living or deceased..who would you be? Forensic. I've always wanted to become one, even before all those telly shows glamourised the profession. 7. How many times have you moved in your life? You count: L'viv -- Arcueil -- Brookline -- Marseille (Perier) - Marseille (9eme) - Toulon (center ville) - Marseille (9eme) - Toulon (western part) - Martignat - Toulon (eastern part) -- Otaniemi - Pitajanmaki - Lauttasaari (-- and upcoming move back to France for a year) 8. Would you rather cook or clean? Depends on my mood but most of the time I would say "clean".
