Et ouais, trop dure la vie!

Motivation is at a very low point this morning. I mean the high point has been so far trying to decide what chip I want to eat out of my little fruit/veggie chip baggie*... too bad things can't design themselves and I should contribute a little. As a side note, a little mea culpa to anglo_phile and cinnamonghost, I've been carrying letters to send out to you for weeks now, today I finally put stamps on them! At least now they're well travelled! Also I've discovered that I have a heap of random garden photos which don't really deserve a post of their own but for the sake of showing the evolution of things, here is photo dump! ( +8 - flowers, green plants, crawling little things, etc. ) * totally understandable though, I have at least two chips of each of the following: apple, pear, banana, kiwi, mango, zucchini, sweet potato, topinambour and beet. You know that thing I said about winning at life, I still maintain that.

Most of the stuff I find interesting for work would usually not be interesting for random peeps but sometimes I fall on things which should at least be of interest to some. We've been complaining about the dreadful weather we've had for the past couple of months and today I found that this month of March, which should be rather nice and lovely and sunny, had a whole five and a half consecutive days when the amount of sunshine in Toulon did not go over 1 hour! Sure we had days with 11 hours of sunshine but five and a half consecutive cloudy days, that's quite something! On that site you can also see that yesterday was not a fun day, 19mm of rain, not the worst of the month but still quite annoying. Now only to calculate the daily averages and get the energy equivalents.

This is how I like to spend my evenings.

When life gives you cauliflower... make raw sushi (and pseudo-taboulé)! So that's a sneak peak at my lunchbox for tomorrow and it's all raw and eerily resembling real sushi. ( +5 - so you want to make your own raw sushi? )
