So it seems that some peeps up in Helsinki and Moscow still have some snow and face cold weather and daily showers. We're facing some very low clouds today and therefore rather humid weather.
I actually quite loved some of the information from that poll. Did you know that yesterday there were talks of tornado in Wisconsin (via happysponge)? And I loved ammesor0's descrption of Florida weather right now - "33 C, strong sun. immobile, dead air. Spring is already over in Florida, as summer as arrived already". Crazy stuff! And as make_me_stay pointed out it's already autumn in Australia but hey, it's jeans and t-shirt weather in winter there and they need sunscreen all year round. As much as I complain about bad weather and darkness, I will admit that the idea of living somewhere without rather big season transitions is kind of scary. I bet you get used to it, it must be a bit like coming back to a "normal" schedule after living through the looooong days close to mid-summer in Finland. I remember being in Korea for mid-summer last year and thinking "hey, it's only 9pm and it's already almost dark! At this period I should be able to cycle almost at any time of the day without having to worry about bringing a lamp along".
In other news though the tulip season is almost over in the garden. I should also take a photo of my planted lentil, quinoa and wheat sprouts. If you've ever wanted to try planting something, go for lentils... these things grow at an amazing rate!
