Corsica is trying to get closer to the mainland! Oh noes! That would have made a great headline, right? I'm not quite sure if it actually moved any closer last night but I do know that there was a 5.3 earthquake somewhere between the island and the mainland. The quake could be reportedly felt all over the coast but I can say that I did not feel it at all, seeing all the "I didn't panic but it was really scary for a second or two" stories floating in all related news articles makes me think I must have missed something. Shame. But hey, nothing was reported destroyed, no tsunami, no nothing. The coast still stands as always.

Ah, j'en ai entendu parler ce matin aux infos et j'allais te demander si tu l'avais senti.

Ce que je me pose, comme question, c'est pourquoi les pompiers ont été débordés d'appels, si c'était pas si ressenti que ça. Partout ils ont dit qu'il n'y avait eu aucun dégât matériel, aucune victime, et les gens interrogés ont dit qu'ils ont été surpris mais pas effrayés. Alors à moins qu'il y ait 3 pompiers par département, je vois pas trop...

Les gens sont cons :) En fait je sais pas du tout pourquoi quelqu'un aurait appeler les pompiers alors qu'il ne se passait visiblement rien. Je pense que cela doit venir d'un manque d'éducation sur le fait de ne pas bloquer les standards téléphoniques si ce n'est pas une urgence parce que quelqu'un d'autre peut en avoir une vraie.
