Even visited the local museum, like proper tourists!

Yesterday we played tourist! Tourists discovering how to drive on American roads, in the snow and crossing multiple times over 3500m! Tourists witnessing the first snow of the season in Leadville, CO!

See those white spots on the guys' coats? That's snow. Nice and proper snow!

Also now my talk is over and done with, one of the perks of presenting in the first session of a conference, I guess.

OMG your conference was in Leadville? Site of the Leadville 100 ultramarathon?!

I was going to make the same comment, haha.

Ah. It seems that must go in my bucket-list of races to try!

Nope, it's in Denver but we drove up to Leadville for a short visit!

OMG snow! I love winter!

How are you finding America?

It's all good! And the guys I'm here with are pretty awesome too.

Tbh though the fact that everyone is trying to be helpful and asking if I need anything every five minutes at breakfast (and restaurants in general) is getting on my nerves. And don't get me started on the tipping culture and the waiters who add a not-so-optional gratuity line by themselves on the check... but these things will never change, it seems. >D

Haha yea, that is customer service to the extreme. I find it annoying too when at a store, an employee is like stalking you and trying to sell you stuff.
