On a Friday evening, from Helsinki to somewhere a little bit north of Hämeenlinna, to meet up with about fifty crazy peeps for Halloween at one rather huge cottage (apparently it was built to be used in some kind of survival of the fittest game show). Normal Halloween parties are so yesterday!
We were among the last ones to arrive. Bottles had been emptied already.
It ain't no cottage stay without grilling makkara!
These photos are actually quite old, I edit them whenever I have time and in batches so these are actually from the end of October.
Any reason to party and drink is good enough :D But it is true that it is not this over-the-top thing like in the US and kids don't go trick-or-treating and there aren't pumpkins everywhere. We do like out Halloween parties though.
