Reading - what better way to get better at a language than reading? Strangely enough it seems that what is easy for me to read is actually not what my Spanish teacher considers as easy. She gave me some recommendations for young adult books and I couldn't get through a page without giving up! I think they were too hip or something, in the sense that they played with the language too much for me to understand. I found this book from the 70s, so far I've been able to understand it well enough.
