Peeps! I ain't dead yet but I've left LJ now that I can't get a "normal" update page if I use an ad-blocker and Ghostery.

You can find my posts on a WordPress blog now! It's not fully set up now but it's looking better and better!

Have you thought about setting up a feed thru LJ for your WP blog?

Also, what ad blocker are you using? I used to use Ghostery but it made the internet unusable as a whole for me.

I remember there was a way to get WP stuff on here but tbqh I haven't looked into it yet! Will do this weekend!

Ghostery is working fine for me, I just had to whitelist some stuff (like Tumblr buttons, etc.) and it's been fine - that said, I don't really like "interacting" with most websites (e.g. clicking on a twitter button at the bottom of a page to tweet about something) so I don't miss not having those types of things show up. Also I have a thing about not leaving comments on pages that require me to use a third-party service to comment (I know, I know, I'm old fashioned) so I also don't mind not having access to having a lot of comment sections not working.

You could probably just set it up like an RSS feed or use IFTTT, maybe?

Ahhh, that makes sense. It just broke too many things for me and then I believe I read something about it that dissuaded me from using it and another service that I can't remember the name of. You'll have to pry LJ away from my cold, dead hands, lol

I use adblock too, but haven't run into any LJ issues with it.
