First response - "how dare you change deadlines like that!"

Response at the end of the day - "well, it's my own fault anyway. Damn you procrastination!"

+4 - more flowers and a tiny spider, you've been warned! )
cerealjoe: (I hate everyone)

Tons of random today. I was out again and it's still as hot and humid as ever but I did feel a few raindrops... they never materialised in full rain but there is hope!

The packing is still going well. I'm not taking anything off the walls yet though. I doubt I could live without Chinese propaganda souvenirs at eye level.

I'm also having an internal battle as to whether or not I should bring back with me some soft toys I got here. Namely two. Aziraphale and a random cow my aunt sent me. At first I didn't question at all and they were already packed but then I realised that I have no use for them. Even here all they used to do was sit on the couch and now that the couch is gone they just sit on my bed. The only soft toy I have a use for is Panda because she makes a great pillow for when I can't fall asleep. I don't know if it's a mental thing or not but if I'm hugging her or just putting my head on her belly I can fall asleep even though I couldn't before. As of right now Aziraphale and the cow are going to be donated, I'm pretty sure there are people out there who could appreciate them more than I ever could.

+1 and the story of my tights )

Right. And now time for some more fun! Namely I have some really awesome tabs open and I don't want to lose the links.

First of all, something [livejournal.com profile] mittelfeld linked on Twitter which I find fascinating: Hello Kitty Sushi Maker. How freaken awesome is that? It totally beats all those toasters that burn images into toast!

Second, also Hello Kitty, the Hello Kitty Diana Mini. I'm pretty sure that it's not real but if it is real, I want one! I'm not even a fan of HK and still I want one. I get a lot of remarks about the Diana Mini and taking the whole toy image even further seems neat. (Edit: apparently this is real! And it was only released in South Korea. Oh why did I not see it at the Lomo store in Seoul?)

Third, I hope you have some time to waste! Learn Something Every Day. It presents facts as little pictures. I learnt a lot of stuff going through the archives like the fact that the Mona Lisa has no eyebrows or that only 3% of adults get 8 hours of sleep.
