Guess what? Another day. Another downpour.
How much snow do you think we could have had by now if it had been a tad colder during the past months? We'd be totally snowed in. The really sad part is that I have just 25 kilometres to run in order to reach 1000km for the year and every night I look at the weather and at best it indicates a tiny raindrop ("not a lot of rain") and I think to myself that it's great, I can go for a run! I wake up and I hear the wind and the rain beating down and all I can come up with is that even if it rains in Marseille it would still be more fun to run in the rain there where there is a little bit more light and it's warmer.
Fitting with the theme of doom and gloom... another set from the PhotoSwap! Part 1 was here.

Yes, yes, I know. Too much complaining about the darkness and the weather... but come on! I had prepared myself mentally that this year I was going to get on with Hki darkness and weather without a hitch, keeping active, etc. And then this freaky weather happens! It was supposed to be cold and snowy, or at least drier. *goes back to her little corner of complaining along with pretty much 99% of Helsinki dwellers* |
