cerealjoe: (FF - simon going mad)
On days like today I see that sometimes experience is about choosing a 3 hour layover over a 45 minutes one because the chances of the first plane being 40 minutes late or more are high, as Murphy's law would have it.

But sun! Soon! Although it seems that it was rainy this morning in the south. Don't fail me now, dear south!

+4 - it should be as sunny as it was back then )

Final few shots from the film I received as part of the Photoswap 2011!

+5 - more of city life )

Guess what? Another day. Another downpour.

How much snow do you think we could have had by now if it had been a tad colder during the past months? We'd be totally snowed in. The really sad part is that I have just 25 kilometres to run in order to reach 1000km for the year and every night I look at the weather and at best it indicates a tiny raindrop ("not a lot of rain") and I think to myself that it's great, I can go for a run! I wake up and I hear the wind and the rain beating down and all I can come up with is that even if it rains in Marseille it would still be more fun to run in the rain there where there is a little bit more light and it's warmer.

Fitting with the theme of doom and gloom... another set from the PhotoSwap! Part 1 was here.

+6 - skies and trees on b&w film )

Yes, yes, I know. Too much complaining about the darkness and the weather... but come on! I had prepared myself mentally that this year I was going to get on with Hki darkness and weather without a hitch, keeping active, etc. And then this freaky weather happens! It was supposed to be cold and snowy, or at least drier. *goes back to her little corner of complaining along with pretty much 99% of Helsinki dwellers*
cerealjoe: (Good Omens - what's my point again?)
And here are some of my shots from the film I sent over during the Photoswap! Taken with the Chinon probably in June or July.

(Chinon CX. Some kind of iso200, most likely Kodak but I don't remember)

+8 - garden, thimbles, sunshine! )
cerealjoe: (chris - whee!)
Every year for the last three years, Rhianne has organised a photoswap where you take photos and send your roll to someone else to develop (and learn a bit about someone else's life).

Here is the first half of the roll I received from Siobahn and the photos were taken in South London, how awesome is that?

+12 - cafes, rivers, trees, curtains, etc. )
