That is quite a lot of sweet stuff.
Jun. 4th, 2011 02:11 pmOne thing I kind of miss about Finland, among many other things, is the availability of salmiakki (the local salty licorice, salty because of ammonium chloride - NH4Cl - rather than the usual table salt - NaCl). I wouldn't necessarily eat salmiakki all the time but there is just something about it being available. A bit like good croissants here, I honestly can't remember the last time I ate a croissant but if I wanted one, I know I could find one in pretty much any street. In Germany I saw these "Schoko Salmiak Lolli" things and I just had to have them. And then I had to have tons of other stuff. Can I get paid to travel around and go to supermarkets in random countries and buy and try tons of random snacks and sweets? ( +9 - more lollies, yogurt candy, Maya the bee, Sesame Street, Shaun the Sheep cookies... ) |
