CS Weekly Meetings out in the sun!

The CS Helsinki Weekly Meetings are back in the park (after a very successful run in Cafe Talo, go visit there, they're awesome people and the place is great)! Yay! We had such a great turn out this week, it's incredible. I really do think that those weekly meetings are a huge part of what makes the CS Hki community so awesome. Yeah, I might complain about CS related stuff from time to time but in the end it's all still worth it! If we're friends on Facebook you might have seen the random "waste management" discussion there was when I posted about the "WM at the park"... ah... yes, I tried coming up with other interesting areas of discussion based on the letters W and M. There is really a lot of stuff that can be abbreviated with WM. Also please see my second attempt at the whole tilt-shift stuff. It's really not that easy finding a good way to photograph something for those kinds of photos. In any case, today I'm finally going to Hakaniemi to the Chinese and Thai shops. Udon noodles, wonton wrappers and mushroom flavoured soy sauce, here I come! And I obviously can't forget my little red bean buns... I make it sound like it's far away but actually by bike it's only about 7km from my house... but I have to cross the whole city center and it's probably the one place I hate cycling because there's always people and they usually don't respect the cycling line and just walk there. | |
